The Partnership Baudville and Habitat for Humanity of Kent County Build 250th Home! |
In celebration of Baudville, Inc.'s 25th anniversary, Baudville's Helping Hand has created a valuable partnership with another inspiring organization, Habitat for Humanity of Kent County. The award winning Habitat affiliate is also celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008, making the partnership even more meaningful.
As the sole sponsor for Habitat for Humanity of Kent County's 250th home, Baudville demonstrates that a small company can have a big impact on the community. Since our founding, Baudville has had a passionate commitment to our customers, our employees and our community. When it came to celebrating our 25th anniversary, it made sense to do something that would recognize and strengthen those commitments.
Baudville employees will be celebrating the milestone anniversary of their companies throughout the construction of the 250th home. As a gift, Baudville gave all employees the opportunity to spend one workday at the house construction site. Participating employees were shuttled to the site by chartered bus, treated to delicious treats, and provided with extraordinary team building experiences. The impact of Baudville's unique approach to charitable giving is a notable testament to what a group of creative, committed individuals can achieve.
